Our question for you
Ask yourself this question: Are you ready to meet the Lord when He returns? Are you sure? Peter speaks about the Lord’s promise to return when he says:
“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up” ( 2 Peter 3:9-10).
The Lord is going to return and many will be surprised at His coming. Jesus said:
” Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘ I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23).
Only those who have done the will of the Father will enter the kingdom of heaven. We would be happy to study with you about God’s will for your life so that you can be assured of entering heaven.
